If you are reading this teaching then you realize that your life is not what you thought it would be. You probably have no peace of mind and you wonder, “What’ the use?”
My dear friend there is hope for the lost. God in His divine wisdom knew that you would be right here right now and knew exactly how you are feeling. He wants you to know that He provided a way that you might have everlasting life and have it more abundantly!
As you read this, you should get alone and apart so that God may speak to you through the page. I pray that God will richly bless the reading of these words and grant unto you life eternal. Don’t let the Devil continue to steal from you. He has robbed you of your past, don’t let him rob you of your future!
In the beginning...
...God created the heaven and the earth, and the earth was pristine and beautiful, and it pleased Him that He had made such a beautiful place. Desiring fellowship, He created a man to walk and talk with Him and take care of what He had created. He called the man Adam (literally meaning man). When He saw that the man wanted a human companion He made a woman from Adam’s rib and called her Eve (meaning mother of all living). God placed them in a large beautiful garden called Eden.
God desired for His creation to worship Him so He gave Adam and Eve a free will. He told them that they could eat from every tree in the garden but not the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Just as you and I, when given the choice to either do good or bad, or choose to obey or disobey, we have a desire to do the wrong thing. Eve took of the fruit of that tree and offered it to Adam and he ate it, disobeying God. He decided that he would rather stay with his wife than to obey God.
Because of this disobedience God drove them from the garden to work by the sweat of their brow and have pain in childbirth. That sin passed down throughout the generations to us, therefore we are born into this world with inherent sin. Because we are the descendants of Adam we carry the same sin consciousness in our spirits. We are all therefore doomed to die and spend eternity in hell.
Still desiring that fellowship with His creation He provided a way that man could renew his standing with God, with a blood sacrifice. Man would have to slay an animal without any imperfections and the priest would sprinkle that blood upon the man to redeem his sins. Man had to daily make sacrifices for sin which was not possible...so God in his mercy provided a way out..read on...
Why Do I Need To Be Saved and is there an answer for me?
Everyone born into this world is ultimately heading straight for hell. Rom. 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
This happened at the fall of Adam. When Adam sinned he passed this sin down to all generations. Rom 5:12 “ Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned”
When we are born into this world we go the way of the world. Isaiah. 53:6 “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way.”
Is there a penalty for sinning? Rom. 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Jer 31:30 “But every one shall die for his own iniquity:
Heb. 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
Man will die someday and when he does he is destined to be judged by God..
Why will you have to go to hell? Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated you from' your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”
What is being saved or salvation?
When God saw that His creation had fallen into sin it grieved Him. He stated that “He who sins will surely die”. He said that He would send a payment for the sins of man and buy them back from hell.. This payment would be like money paid to a grocer in exchange for food. God’s payment was going to be His only Son. His name was Jesus. God made it easy for us to be saved and spend eternity with Him. He said that if we would believe in His son, Jesus, He would forgive us our sins forever and remember them no more! The only thing He requested was that we give Him our whole life and make it His. If we do that, when He comes again He will take us to be with Him and live for all eternity. If we don’t believe with our heart that He sent Jesus for our salvation, then we will spend eternity separated from Him and burn in hell fire for ever and ever! The illustration below demonstrates this.
What is Man’s Response?
John 1:12 “Yet to all who receive him, to those who believe in his name" he gave the right to become sons of God,” Rom. 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Christ paid the price
Rom. 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” 1 Pet. 3:18 “For Christ suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God, He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit.”
Must Receive Christ
John 3:17 “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17 “ He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Rev. 3:20 “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with me.” John 14:6 “Jesus answered, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Heb. 11:6 “ But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” James. 2:19 “Belief in Christ must be a true heart felt belief which means you trust in, cling to, and rely on Him. We must believe with our heart not just with the mind, for even the Devil believes and trembles.”
Obedience to Christ
Rom. 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship.” John 14:21 “Whoever has my commandments and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father and I too will love him and show myself to him.”
Mat 7:21 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.” John 6:37 “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”
Act 5:29 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than man.” Rom 2:8 “But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath.”
We Are The Children of God
There are many false ideas about becoming a child of God. Some believe that all men are saved. Some believe that all good men are saved. Some believe that everyone who goes to church is saved. Most believe that if you do more good than bad you will go to heaven. All of these are false notions and will lead you straight to hell.
It is only through faith in Christ that we call God our Father. John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name.” Gal. 4:6 “Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father.” The word Abba meant Father and only a born son could use that name for their father. An adopted son could not call his father that name. Because we believe in Jesus and His shed blood we are sons of God and God is our Abba.
It is through faith in Christ we seek God in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” This is better than being the child of a king, a president, or a millionaire! Heaven is guaranteed to every believer (1 Peter 1:3–5) “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has regenerated us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and unfading, reserved in Heaven for you by the power of God, having been kept through faith to a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time;” But the quality and impact of the believer’s life on earth depend on his execution of God’s plan after salvation.
Isa. 40:28-31 “Have you never heard or understood? Don’t you know that the LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth? He never grows faint or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength to the weak. Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up. But those who wait on the LORD will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. What about you? Have you found the strength to overcome the obstacles you face in life or are you letting the circumstances get you down?
What will you do? What can you do? It is clear that drawing back into your shell like you do when you have a very bad cold is not a good solution. Fear is not a positive reaction. Worry does not produce positive results. Stay positive. Find strength in the Lord. Internalize Him and look for inspiration.
Jude 1:21 Live in such a way that God’s love can bless you as you wait for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy is going to give you.
Phil 4:4-9 “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again – rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.
If you have decided to give your life to Jesus then say the following to God, just speak it, say, "Lord God, I turn from my sinful life and give my life to you, I want to be your child. Forgive me of my sins and take my life, I freely give it to you. Thank you for hearing me and saving me. I love you Father!
NOW, right now, you will live forever free from all your sins. Isn't that a great feeling. The burden of sin has been lifted off of you by your Lord Jesus!
