Teach Me Lord
Teach me of the cross oh Lord And what it means to die,
Teach me of obedience For I know that I
Want to yield myself to you Every fiber of my being,
When I think about your love It sends my mind a'reeling.
To think of mercy and of grace And love with depths unknown,
To try to even contemplate The love that you have shown,
Would be like counting all the stars Amid the blackest heaven,
Or trying to number all the fish That swim in all the oceans.
So I refuse to even try To figure all of this,
I will just receive in faith And bathe in all the bliss.
The bliss of knowing you oh Lord and walking as your friend,
Being faithful and obedient Unto the very end.
